No Gardener Left Behind

AGC’s No Gardener Left Behind Program provides access to local homeowners that lack the funds to start & maintain a garden of their own.

The majority of our participants live in marginalized neighborhoods that would be considered food deserts. They have little to no access to nutrition-dense produce or whole foods education.

My hope in starting this program is to empower them with horticulture knowledge sparking a revolution in how they view and approach nutrition.

We support these gardeners throughout the whole process. Our garden expert visits and evaluates their potential garden space. We create a garden plan, purchase the necessary materials, and then activate our community to build and plant a garden in one day!

We ensure our gardener's success by consulting with them once per season to provide help with plant selection, soil amendment, watering schedule, etc.

With your help, we give our community the power to sustain themselves and create healthier lifestyles!

Urban Farm Volunteer Day

We put the power of community action to the test and tackle one urban farm at a time. A Green Community facilitates a fun, informative, active day of gardening for residents to get involved with their local farm. We lend our energy to weed, plant, build, mulch, and grow our most precious communal space while enjoying each other's company, sharing land, stories, and nutritious foods! Together we build A Green Community!
